In April 2026, Uproar Design & Print installed the first Konica Minolta AccurioPress C84HC High Chroma digital press in the United States at our Oakland, California studio. With output resolution up to 3600 × 2400 dpi equivalent, it delivers one of the widest color gamuts available from a four-color production digital press.

Color Space

Preferred RGB: Adobe RGB
Preferred CMYK: PrintWide 2020
Any other profile or untagged will cause color shift.
Working Color Space: Download: ICC Profile for computer and tablet, or import to creative apps

Color Matching

Use device calibrated screen for referencing color only, like most of the giclee prints. Do not reference color with conventional CMYK presses (non- high chroma). High chroma printer converts color differently than the rest of the conventional CMYK printers. Your prints usually turn out more saturated and with less gray due to less color conversion (or matching closely to your digital original). 

Canvas Dimension

Resolution: Full data, or 600 Pixel per Inch (PPI), minimum 300 PPI
Borderless prints: Add 0.125" or 0.0625" bleed to all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).
Bordered print: Do NOT add bleed.
Example: 8x10 borderless print will need artwork exported at 8.25x10.25

Transparent PNG guides can be download or request. Place in layer at 100% scale, or open as a new file for dropping artwork.

• We have "Standard 300 PPI" and "High-resolution 600 PPI" for better reproduction fidelity.
• For borderless prints, we have "Standard 0.125" (1/8")" and "Fine trimming 0.0625" (1/16")" options.

Sample

Printed sample is available for request, it's free. You can leave a note upon placing order, or contact us for shipping samples. Not all the sample in currently stock, but we will do our best. Heavyweight collection covers most of the texture for your reference.

Test Print

Order small prints: Try 25% scale before full production, or contact us for trial prints.

Test Wedge: place several portions of your artwork requires extra attention into a small print.

*Make sure you have enough time for editing print files and mailing also takes some time.

Turnaround

Check our announcement for live update. Whole proccess from start to deliver usually takes 1.5-3 week, include contact, editing, production, and standard shipping.

Please reserve in advance before peak convention season, some print works will take significantly longer due to high demand.

Rush order will add notable fee depending on the ongoing queqe and expected in-hand date.

Product Naming

Besides calling your merchandise “art prints,” we recommend marketing it as “High Chroma Art Print” or adding the “high-chroma” prefix to the type of your merchandise. High chroma art print should be further upsold and differentiated from the rest of common copier prints.
