Our sticker printing processes involve experienced printmasters who carefully manage colors, optimize cutting, laminate, and conduct quality checks. Sticker cutting needs vector paths, we recommend using Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, CorelDraw or any apps can handle vector path as well as embedded pixel-based (rasterized) images.

Design Notes:

  • The minimum distance between stickers (Red die-cut line) is 0.125 inch (1/8")
  • The minimum distance between artwork and cutting path is 0.0625 to 0.125 inch (1/8" to 1/16")
  • Cutting paths should not collides
  • If you need border-less sticker, extend you artwork by at least 0.0625 (1/16") to 0.125 (1/8")

Cutting terminology:

  • Die cut: Also called through cut, which is a path cut through the paper. Used to be a die pressed on the paper for cutting, like a cookie-die cutter. Now is replaced by flatbed cutter with a moving cutting blade.
  • Kiss cut: A cutting technique only seperate the sticker material on top without cutting through the backing material. Sticker sheet and easy peel sticker units this technique.

Color Profile

  • Send RGB file, embed your profile with Adobe RGB (Adobe RGB 1998), or Apple DCI P3
  • Do not use generic CMYK (SWOP, GraCol, Fogra etc.), it will "crop" your color.
  • Keep color profile consistent while creating artworks.

Canvas Size (Artboard)

  • Pricing is based on on the size of the canvas
  • You can put multiple artworks in one artboard, or rotate artwork for more space

Format: Vector or Raster (Pixel)

  • We accept Adobe Illustrator files. Please organize your layers in three layers: Graphics, Die Cut, and Kiss Cut (if any).
  • We accept Adobe Photoshop, or PNG with a solid white area and background. (Please make sure your brush stroke is clean, as it will be converted to shapes.)

Production
Usually takes 3 to 5 days depends on ongoing production, then goes into logistics network. Time for shipping and production calculated separately.

Shipping
We prioritize UPS, then FedEx and USPS. Packaging cost included handling fee and materials.

We need to hasten either production or shipping. To keep your cost efficient, we recommend contacting us earlier during peak season.

FAQ in Sticker Printing

  • Can I do test print?

    We have 12x24 gang sheet to put all artworks in one artboard. You can test several artwork at once.

  • Do you do custom size even bigger than 5x5 inch?

    Yes, up to 36~42 inch wide. Contact us for custom project.

  • Do you have quantity / volume discount?

    Yes, and is included in pricing already. For more discount for artist and small business, you are more than welcome to apply B2B.

  • Can you set up a cutting path for me?

    Yes, we adequately charge for $30/30-min for your project, and we both keep the latest version in case of you need printing anytime.
