Sticker Printing: Standard, Holographic & Magnetic

Service Info

Create art stickers with carefully managed color, precise cutting and a choice of materials and finishes. Uproar supports illustrators, fan artists, furry artists, LGBTQ+ creators and independent brands with hands-on production review.

Choose your material

  • Standard: a print substrate paired with matte, luster, gloss or holographic lamination.
  • Fabric Sticker: the lightweight woven fabric used for our digital-canvas wall scrolls, with an adhesive backing.
  • Aqua EX: a substrate for wet environments, including shower areas and underwater applications. Contact us to confirm suitability for your surface.
  • Magnetic: a magnetic-backed option for suitable metal surfaces.

Adhesive-backed options use acrylic adhesive for a strong bond with minimal residue on suitable surfaces. Fluorescent-pink ink is compatible with all of our sticker substrates.

Pack quantities

Batch Stickers
Small 50
Medium 100
Large 250
Mega-Pack 500

Sizes are measured in inches. For multiple designs, contact us to confirm the layout for your chosen pack.

Cutting and gang sheets

Choose die-cut stickers, kiss cuts or sticker sheets. Gang sheets are printed on a 24-inch-wide roll and priced by lengths of 12, 24, 36 or 48 inches. We review artwork and cut paths before production.

Design Guide

Cutting terminology

  • Die cut / through cut: cuts through the sticker and its release liner to create separate pieces.
  • Kiss cut: cuts the sticker layer while leaving the liner intact, for sticker sheets or easy-peel designs.

Borders and contours

Sticker outlines typically extend ¹⁄₁₆–⅛ inch beyond the artwork, depending on the design. For borderless stickers, extend the artwork beyond the cut path instead. These are contour offsets; they serve a different purpose from trimming a rectangular art print. Keep cut paths separate and contact us to confirm spacing for tightly packed designs.

Use vector software for cutting paths, or supply a clearly defined solid white outer shape against a transparent background for raster artwork. Do not assume every transparent interior area will be cut out.

Leopard and leaf sticker examples showing red die-cut paths, green kiss-cut paths, and a 1/16 to 1/8 inch cutting offset.

Image & Layout Requirements

Cutting layout

For vector files, keep Graphics, Die Cut and Kiss Cut paths clearly separated. If you cannot prepare a vector path, provide raster artwork with a solid white border against a transparent background to define the intended outer cut shape. Contact us about internal cutouts or complex contours.

Color profiles

Use Adobe RGB (1998) for RGB artwork or PrintWide2020 for CMYK artwork. Embed the profile when saving or exporting. Download the working color profiles or request them from our studio.

To preserve the current appearance as closely as possible when changing profiles, use Convert to Profile. Assigning a profile keeps the color values but changes how they are interpreted, so the appearance may change. For untagged artwork, or if you are unsure which profile belongs to the file, contact us before assigning one.

Color references and proofs

Use a calibrated display and suitable lighting when reviewing color. Paper, surface finish and viewing conditions affect the printed result. We accept mailed physical references for some projects; contact us first to discuss matching requirements. A test print is recommended before a larger run.

Resolution and final size

Prepare raster artwork at 300–600 PPI at the final printed size, with a minimum of 300 PPI. Keep the original image data. Vector artwork is not limited by raster resolution, but embedded raster images still need sufficient resolution. Contact us if a large image needs upscaling; suitability varies and artifacts may appear.

Using templates

Use the template for your exact product, size and finishing option. Place a positioning guide at 100% scale, or open the template and place your artwork into it. Ask us for a guide if your size is not listed.

Sample, Test Print & Turnaround

Stock samples

Available stock samples are free; shipping is charged separately. Contact us for availability and shipping options. Outlying U.S. destinations may incur additional charges.

Custom test prints

Custom test prints are produced to order. Contact us for pricing and the appropriate size. To evaluate overall color economically, print at 25% of the original width and height—for example, a 24 × 36-inch design becomes 6 × 9 inches. To examine critical details, combine selected areas at their intended print scale on one test-wedge sheet.

Plan your schedule

Allow time for file review, test printing, adjustments, production and shipping. Ask us for a project-specific estimate, especially before convention season. Production begins after full payment and your approval of the final print-ready files. Contact us before placing a rush order; rush services are quoted and paid separately.

Selling Guide

Display and selling guidance

Keep stickers in clean packaging to limit dust and surface rubbing during transport. Identify the actual material and finish, such as Fabric Sticker, Holographic Laminated Sticker or Magnet, so customers understand how it can be used.

Explain the suitable surfaces and care for each material. Where designs have pointed edges, make those features clear to customers.
