Aluminum Photo Prints & Carbon Fiber Art Panels
Print your artwork directly onto aluminum or carbon-fiber panels for a clean, frameless presentation. Our 10-ink UV printing supports vivid color and optional clear-varnish effects for homes, galleries, retail interiors and exhibition graphics.
Panel materials
- Pre-cut aluminum: 1 mm solid aluminum with square edges and a white enamel printing surface.
- Aluminum composite material (ACM): typically 3 mm thick, with a composite core between aluminum faces. Options include white printable, polished, brushed and colored surfaces. ACM can be cut into custom shapes.
- Carbon fiber: 1 mm woven carbon fiber in an epoxy composite, with square edges.
Mounting options
Our ABS mounting brackets use embedded magnets for easy installation and offer a ½-inch or 1-inch floating offset from the wall. The number and type of brackets depend on panel size. Contact us to specify the mounting arrangement for your project.
Panel weight varies with material and size. Handle edges and corners carefully, and protect the printed surface during transport.
File formats
Preferred formats are TIFF and original Photoshop PSD/PSB or Illustrator AI files. High-quality JPEG, JPEG 2000 and PNG files are also accepted where appropriate. JPEG uses lossy compression, so retain the original file whenever possible.
Color profiles
Use Adobe RGB (1998) for RGB artwork or PrintWide2020 for CMYK artwork. Embed the profile when saving or exporting. Download the working color profiles or request them from our studio.
To preserve the current appearance as closely as possible when changing profiles, use Convert to Profile. Assigning a profile keeps the color values but changes how they are interpreted, so the appearance may change. For untagged artwork, or if you are unsure which profile belongs to the file, contact us before assigning one.
Color references and proofs
Use a calibrated display and suitable lighting when reviewing color. Paper, surface finish and viewing conditions affect the printed result. We accept mailed physical references for some projects; contact us first to discuss matching requirements. A test print is recommended before a larger run.
Resolution and final size
Prepare raster artwork at 300–600 PPI at the final printed size, with a minimum of 300 PPI. Keep the original image data. Vector artwork is not limited by raster resolution, but embedded raster images still need sufficient resolution. Contact us if a large image needs upscaling; suitability varies and artifacts may appear.
Bleed and trimming
For most borderless art prints, choose ⅛ inch (0.125 inch) of bleed per side, or the ¹⁄₁₆-inch (0.0625-inch) fine-trimming option when you prefer less trimming. Extend the artwork beyond the finished edge and use the corresponding template. For an 8 × 10-inch finished print, the artwork size is 8.25 × 10.25 inches with ⅛-inch bleed, or 8.125 × 10.125 inches with ¹⁄₁₆-inch bleed. Do not add bleed to bordered prints unless the selected template requires it.
Using templates
Use the template for your exact product, size and finishing option. Place a positioning guide at 100% scale, or open the template and place your artwork into it. Ask us for a guide if your size is not listed.

Stock samples
Available stock samples are free; shipping is charged separately. Contact us for availability and shipping options. Outlying U.S. destinations may incur additional charges.
Custom test prints
Custom test prints are produced to order. Contact us for pricing and the appropriate size. To evaluate overall color economically, print at 25% of the original width and height—for example, a 24 × 36-inch design becomes 6 × 9 inches. To examine critical details, combine selected areas at their intended print scale on one test-wedge sheet.
Plan your schedule
Allow time for file review, test printing, adjustments, production and shipping. Ask us for a project-specific estimate, especially before convention season. Production begins after full payment and your approval of the final print-ready files. Contact us before placing a rush order; rush services are quoted and paid separately.
Display and selling guidance
Use a display sample to show the panel finish, optional raised varnish and magnetic mounting. For larger sizes, taking preorders can reduce the amount of inventory you transport. Record the recipient and order information needed for fulfillment.
Name the actual material—Aluminum Composite Art Panel, Aluminum Art Print or Carbon Fiber Art Panel—and explain the selected mounting option. Weight varies with size and construction. Protect edges, corners and printed surfaces in transit.
